Within the Collection of Archives there are posters, leaflets, brochures, newsletters, IDs, telegrams, military cards, personal and official documents that represent historical evidence of the time of the occupation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia during the Second World War. There are also special archival collections represented, consisting of war diaries, diary entries, individual letters and correspondence as a whole, diplomatic files and newspaper clippings. This precious museum material provides an insight into everyday private and social life and depicts the history of the Serbian people. The tradition of collecting items in the Military Museum has been going on since its foundation, so the fund has been enriched in recent years with written historical sources related to the life of Duke Radomir Putnik. Most of the archival materials arrived at the Military Museum as gifts or purchases.
