The April War
In the presence of numerous public, on April 6, 2011 on 70th anniversary of the beginning of Second World War in Yugoslavia, state secretary Igor Jovičić opened the exhibition “The April War, 1941”. An exhibition of Predrag Lažetić in cooperation of Military Museum and Museum of Air Force called for interest of many visitors due to fact that most of the objects from this war were presented for the first time.
The exhibition is divided into several segments and covers the struggle of Yugoslav Royal Army units against invaders in the April War and destiny of those that became prisoners of war and those who continued their fight in Ally units or as members of resistance movements in Yugoslavia.
Exhibition will be opened until May 3rd, every day except Monday from 10AM until 5PM.
